I knew I would do anything for my daughter. It was the happiest moment of my life. I began dreaming of all the things I would teach her, not knowing at the time just how much she would teach me.
I was thrilled with having a daughter, and I had no plans to let other people stop her from pursuing her own dreams no matter what they might turn out to be.
When my daughter was born, I learned the difference between a father and a dad. They both may get up and go to work to provide for their family even if they hate their job. Not just to put a roof over their family and food on the table, but also to give them the ability to afford the little extras.
Being a father is easy and requires little emotional investment. Being a dad, to me, is a dedicated, difficult and lifelong responsibility.
